Growth does not happen by accident. It’s not luck. It’s a choice, guided by God, fueled by action and anchored in purpose. 👉🏾It begins the moment you decide to stop settling and start stretching. 👉🏾 It demands vision, sacrifice and the courage to do what others won’t. 👉🏾 True growth challenges your comfort zone, tests your discipline and rewards your faith. 👉🏾 And above all, growth happens when you choose to believe that where you are now is not the limit of where you can go because with God, all things are possible.
For a while, I believed I was on the right path. After attaining my Chartered Insurance Practitioner status from the CII-UK in 2018, I was promoted and earned a salary increase. Naturally, Naturally, I felt accomplished and satisfied. It felt like I had “arrived.” But with time and reflection, I came to an important realization: Comfort can be deceiving. It silently breeds complacency. Without knowing it, I had settled into a zone that dulled my ambition and masked my full potential. I was not stretching, I wasn’t evolving I was simply maintaining.
The truth is, progress without purpose can become a trap. And that is when I knew it was time to reignite the fire within me and be intentional about the next chapter of my growth.
The Turning Point Then came a defining moment in March 2023, the month I decided to make an impact by sharing the knowledge I had acquired throughout my career, both before and after becoming a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.
I remembered the valuable insights I gained during the Africa Re YIPP Pioneer Programme in 2019 and I decided to share some of that knowledge. So, I wrote and published my first article in the Business & Financial Times (B&FT) titled:
